Jake Owen Hosts New Series
Jake Owen is taking part in another web series. He's signed on for ABC.com's The Countdown To Country Music's Biggest Night, which will lead up to next month's Country Music Association Awards. Owen is slated to host the daily, five-minute webisodes which will give viewers a glimpse at all the prep work involved in staging the ceremony.
Owen is among the nominees heading into the event. He's facing Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Darius Rucker, and the Zac Brown Band for New Artist.
The 43rd annual CMA Awards will be presented at Nashville's Sommet Center, and air on ABC on November 11th.
ABC.com will post installments of The Countdown To Country Music's Biggest Night starting November 4th, with new webisodes scheduled to run through November 12th.
This is the second time this year Owen has teamed up with the network for a special web series. Back in August he hosted ABC.com's Nashville Nights in conjunction with the TV special CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock, which featured highlights from the June event.
