Carrie Ready For Halloween
Carrie Underwood is a big fan of Halloween. The singer tells us she anticipates this holiday every year because it's an excuse to step outside the norm. "I think Halloween's probably my favorite... well, it's not my favorite holiday, but it's my favorite, like, out of commercial things. When you think of the commercial aspect of a holiday it's my favorite. Everybody gets to just be completely silly. I mean, if I walked down the street dressed as a giant bunny rabbit any other day out of the year people would think that I was insane, but you can do that on Halloween. The rules don't apply."
Underwood adds that she is ready and waiting for trick-or-treaters to come knock on her door. "I have lots of candy in my house. My house is all decorated. I've got all the skulls and cross bones stuff all out on my table, and I'm ready, so I'm excited!"
Underwood heads to New York City next week to promote her new CD, Play On, which will be released on Tuesday (November 3rd).
That morning she will perform live on Good Morning America on ABC.
On Thursday (November 5th), she'll pay a visit to Live With Regis & Kelly.
