Luke Bryan Launch Tonight
Luke Bryan officially launches his first headlining Doin' My Thing tour tonight (Friday, October 30th) in Jacksonville, Florida. The tour will wrap on December 5th in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Luke tells us that while he isn't yet playing arenas, this tour takes him one step closer. "You know, it's a month of touring. I guess there's probably 20, 21 dates on it, and it's just something that we feel like is part of the growth in being an artist, you know? I'm not launching out on some five-month tour but I feel like any chance you can to get a great learning experience in this business, and this'll be the first tour experience."

The enthusiasm from fans on the road this year helped convince Luke to headline. "This whole year we've had so many great shows and so many shows in bars sell out for us and so much fan support, when I remember sitting down and talking about this year in the beginning of the year with economy worries and stuff like that, so the fact that people have been so good to me this year and come out and supported me so much, we're just excited about that it's led to doing a big headlining tour."

New act Fast Ryde will open Luke's shows.

Luke's new CD, Doin' My Thing, was released earlier this month.
