Meet & Eat With Alan
PHOTO: John Partipilo of The Tennessean - Alan Jackson signs an autograph for little fan Alexis Flory.

Alan Jackson paid a visit to a Nashville-area Cracker Barrel yesterday morning (Monday, November 2nd) where he met with fans and signed items from his new 40-piece collection, available exclusively at the restaurant chain. The line includes men's and women's wear, food, candles, a Signature Rocker, and a CD, called Songs Of Love And Heartache, which includes two previously unreleased songs.
Alan tells us that he and his wife, Denise, hand-picked everything in the collection. "We kinda looked at all the stuff. They sent us a lot of samples. We made suggestions and picked colors and I had a couple of ideas on things like that little truck that we're sellin', tractor trailer, and the rocking chair I wanted because Cracker Barrel, the rocking chair is kind of their thing, you know, sittin' out there, so, yeah, we've enjoyed doin' it."
Something else that Alan enjoys is Cracker Barrel's menu. "I don't eat there as much as I'd like to but I have a lot over the years, and I like their breakfasts, probably like a lot of people do, the biscuits and those ol' hashbrown casserole - all the good fattening stuff - and I like that meatloaf sandwich for lunch, though. That's pretty good!"
Alan tells us that fans can expect a new single from him next month. He is currently working on a new album, but no release date has been announced.
