Jamey Johnson Is In Demand
Jamey Johnson gave a special performance at actor Matthew McConaughey's 40th birthday party in Los Angeles on Tuesday (November 3rd). Jamey's appearance was a surprise to Matthew, who wrote about the evening on his Myspace blog. Matthew said, "I celebrated last night with a surprise performance by one of my favorite artists Jamey Johnson... there were some epic stories told, lot of laughs and definitely some roasting."
Jamey's next performance will be tonight (Friday, November 6th) in Tacoma, Washington with Randy Houser. The two are on their CMT on Tour trek, which wraps up on December 19th in Evansville, Indiana.

Jamey will also be performing a duet with Kid Rock during the live ABC telecast of the CMA Awards, which happens on Wednesday (November 11th) at Nashville's Sommet Center. The show will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the second year in a row.
Previously announced performers include Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and Dave Mathews, Billy Currington, Vince Gill and Daughtry, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band.
Previously announced presenters include Dale Earnhardt Jr.; stars of ABC's The Middle, Neil Flynn and Patricia Heaton; Julianne Hough; Randy Houser; Jake Owen; Kellie Pickler; LeAnn Rimes; and ABC News' Robin Roberts.
Jamey is nominated in four categories: New Artist, Album for That Lonesome Song, and Single and Song for "In Color." He won Song of the Year in 2007 for co-writing the George Strait hit "Give It Away."
