Paisley Psyched For CMA's
Brad Paisley heads into next week's CMA Awards with more nominations than anyone - a whopping seven, which includes Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album of the Year for American Saturday Night, and Single and Song of the Year for "Then."
In addition to co-hosting the Awards with Carrie Underwood, Brad will also perform live on the show, something he tells us is almost a bigger deal than being nominated. "Nominations are important, but the most important thing about that is the involvement in that show and being a part of country music and getting to perform. Performance on there is a big deal to me. That's really selfishly why I like award shows is the chance to play in front of both your peers and your fans in a big way, in a way that there aren't a lot of outlets anymore other than those shows for live music."
The CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Sommet Center on Wednesday (November 11th) on ABC.
The morning before (Tuesday, November 10th), Brad and Carrie will perform an outdoor concert in downtown Nashville as part of the Good Morning America broadcast. The show is free and open to the public.
Brad charted his 11th consecutive Number One hit this week with "Welcome To The Future."
The big announcement just came down yesterday that Brad Paisley will bring his American Saturday Night Tour to the BJCC Arena on February 5th, 2010, along with special guests Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore! Get the full details...
