Tim McGraw And Sandra Bullock Star In The Blind Side Hitting Theaters This Weekend
Tim McGraw's new movie, The Blind Side, opens in theaters across the country today (Friday, November 20th). The film is based on the best-selling novel by Michael Lewis, The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game. It tells the true story of Michael Oher (pronounced OAR), a homeless African-American teen from a broken household who is taken in by the Tuohy (pronounced TEW-EY) family, a well-to-do white family that sees extraordinary promise in him. Tim plays Sean Tuohy, while Sandra Bullock plays his wife, Leigh Anne Tuohy.

Juggling both an acting and a recording career may seem daunting, but Tim tells us one actually benefits the other. "After doing movies and sort of finding a different way of approaching how to get into being somebody else, instead of interpreting it in a song you interpret it with your whole body and not so much just your voice singing, so it does help you when you go back into the studio to record an album you do take part of that other part of yourself that you discovered in order to do that in the movies. I think they feed off each other and they help each other and hopefully makes it better."

The Blind Side was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.

In other Tim news, he is featured in the new issue of People magazine as one of the "Sexiest Men Alive." He told ACC Top 40, "I like it, I have to say. Except, I have to explain it all to my friends who are sitting back there. They're not gonna let me live it down," he said of his band, the Dancehall Doctors.

Tim's wife, Faith Hill, has already been in several People "Most Beautiful" issues, a fact that he says will be brought to his attention. He said, "She'll pull that out on me when it's to her convenience."
