Trust me, I do get the irony of me asking this question on social media, but with all the good that social media has done and can possibly do, does it do more harm than good for humanity? I love being able to get online and see what a ton of my friends are doing, but I also think that there are a lot of bad things about it.  People saying horrible things to each other because they sit anonymously behind a keyboard or phone, child and sex trafficking made easier, terror plots being hatched, etc.  I do see the good side of it, too: people reaching out when they need help, raising money for great causes, letting people know about things in the community, etc.  I know for me, I’ve been giving myself time away from social media daily. I find it’s easier to decompress and enjoy my life without that tether.  If you’re not doing that, give it a try and see how much freer you feel!
