It’s no secret in the last several years, home prices have skyrocketed. Well, the price of everything has. But worry not, some cities are still affordable, and one Alabama city actually tops a list of most affordable for home buyers.
WalletHub has just come out with its list of the most affordable cities for home buyers in 2023. To come up with their ranking, they compared 300 U.S. cities across 10 key metrics, including the cost of homes and their maintenance to tax rates and the cost of living.
Topping the list – Montgomery, Alabama.
On the flip side, 16 of the top 20 most expensive cities for homebuyers are in California.
