(Birmingham, AL – March 13, 2023) – This week, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra launches a new concert series featuring favorite orchestral works in the relaxed setting of your favorite local breweries. Tunes on Tap consists of three, hour-long brewery concerts at Cahaba Brewing Company, Monday Night Social Club, and TrimTab Brewing Company.

These performances are FREE to the public thanks to series sponsors Medical Properties Trust and Stewart/Perry, and are hosted by the ASO Junior Patrons.

Conducting duties will be shared by Music Director Carlos Izcaray and Principal Pops!

Conductor Christopher Confessore. Confessore says of the series “The Alabama Symphony Orchestra is known for bringing great music to audiences across the state. We are excited to share unique concerts of diverse repertoire with brewery patrons in our new Tunes on Tap series. Last Spring, we performed a similar event at TrimTab that was lots of fun and helped us meet listeners who hadn’t previously heard a live performance by the ASO.”
